The 2008 Island Phone Directory is now available! It contains up to date listings (as of August 2007) for seven islands in Casco Bay. It has proven itself indispensable over time with its convenient size, large print, quality spiral binding, single column listings, advertisers in bold-face in the general listings and two year shelf life. The Directory begins with a General Index which covers emergency and non-emergency numbers and services listings that are common to all or most of the islands. Since advertising is throughout the directory, you no longer have to search for an ad, just go to the handy Index to Advertisers on Page 5! There are great maps from Mitchell Geographics, Inc, by each island and Island listings in alphabetical order with lots of room for notes or your own often used numbers. Check out the new Non-Profit listings at the end of the Peaks Island section with contacts, websites and phone numbers all in one place. We can all do our part “going green” using the Old Port Walker’s Map and details on pages 95-96 referring to Peaks Island but sentiments cover all the islands.
